The Celebration Starts Now… Here’s the Details
A Match Made In the Eyes of God.
With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, Signe and Jean-Luc request the honor of your presence as they exchange vows in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, surrounded by those they hold dear.
We’ll begin with Holy Mass, followed by a joyful reception. Dress code is cocktail attire with modest touches—think Vatican-appropriate: no shorts, crop tops, or bare shoulders during the ceremony, please.
The Fun Continues…
The Bride
Signe Sultana grew up in Farmers Branch, Texas, in the same neighborhood her parents once called home. She moved to Galveston to study Oceans and One Health at Texas A&M, with dreams of improving human health through science, advocacy, and maybe a few well-placed CPR trainings. Along the way, she picked up a couple of concussions (thanks, swing dancing) and one unforgettable love story. Now she’s trading her lab coat for wedding plans, and still keeping an eye on helping people heal, one celebration at a time.
The Groom
Jean-Luc Murray was born in Springfield, Virginia, but his heart has always belonged to the water. Summers spent with his grandparents along the St. Lawrence River sparked a lifelong fascination with ships, especially the massive ones that glide by like floating cities. He’s a quiet enthusiast of all things that sail, with a growing collection of military memorabilia and naval trivia that could rival a museum. While dancing isn’t exactly his strong suit, he’s learning for Signe, proof that love can move mountains (or at least two left feet).
We know many of you are traveling from near and far to celebrate with us in Galveston, and your presence truly means the world to us. Sharing this day with the people we love is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you’d still like to contribute to our registry or honeymoon fund, we’ve included a few options below, no pressure, just love.
